We made it to Friday YAY! Is it just me or was that the longest 4 day work week ever? Maybe it’s just me and that’s why I’m extra excited to present my first “Friday Favorites” post- something new that I’ll be doing monthly.
I’m so guilty of visiting 985945 different blogs a day, Pinning their amazing recipes then never actually following through on making anything…oops!
So this week I decided to change that! I know fellow bloggers put so much hard work and effort into creating delicious recipes to share with their readers and so I decided to actually follow through and try some out! Today I’m sharing 2 of my favorite recipes I made this week and my new favorite workout pants.
New favorite breakfast: 3 Ingredient Pancakes by The Skinny Confidential
I’ve been in a serious breakfast rut and discovering these pancakes has given me a whole new reason to wake up in the morning! These pancakes are SO EASY to make and I was shocked how flavorful they were.
All you need is 1 banana, 2-3 eggs and 1 Tbsp of chia seeds- THAT’S IT! The complete recipe is on The Skinny Confidential.
I had these on my plate ready to devour in less than 5 minutes! Best of all, they kept me full for hours!
I topped them with The Skinny Confidential’s Healthy, Skinny Syrup and modified it by using maple syrup.
New favorite drink: Orange Ginger Turmeric Sunshine Juice from In it 4 the Long Run!
Oranges are in season right now and there is nothing more delicious than an orange fresh from the tree. My parents have orange trees and gave me 100’s to bring home with me so discovering this recipe was perfect.
This is another simple 3 ingredient recipe: oranges, ginger and turmeric- DONE!
Turmeric is one of the most beneficial spices to our health and well being. The main ingredient in turmeric is called curcumin which has super anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits that may slow down age-related brain damage, prevent cancer and type 2 diabetes and even helps your body burn fat!

New favorite workout pants: Zella “Live In” Leggings
Move over Lululemon and hello Zella! These are my absolute favorite workout pants on the planet and every single pant pictured above is ON SALE!
Just to help you all with sizes I’m 5’10 and about 140 lbs and wear a medium. These leggings are “slim fit” and hug in all the right places without squeezing you to death at the waist band.
I wear my Zella leggings to hot yoga, for running, for lifting weights and even to work. They are so flattering and are made with such high quality material.
