As much as I love working out sometimes I just have no motivation to do it. I’m one of those people who needs to have an upcoming vacation or something to really really get excited to workout hard.
I’m kind of in workout limbo right now. I just finished all 12 weeks of Kayla Itsines’s Bikini Body Guide and my next race (The Hot Chocolate Run) isn’t until March 20th. It’s been very hard to get myself motivated and excited to go for a run or hit the gym. I found myself skipping workouts or totally half assing them more often than not last week. OOPS!
I need YOUR help!
What are some ways to help you get re-motivated to workout?
Is there a workout program you would recommend (T25, Insanity, BBG weeks 13-24?)
I do have my first full marathon coming up in June and for some reason I have avoided sitting down and actually making a training plan for it (probably because I’m intimidated and scared to death).
Today is President’s Day and I don’t have work, so today I’m working on myself and committing to making a training plan for the Rock ‘N’ Roll Seattle Marathon. Any tips are welcomed!!!
So real talk, even fitness bloggers have workout slumps and it’s totally normal.It’s all about how you handle it. I have 2 choices…stay in this funk or push myself and get out of it (I’m choosing the latter). I’m taking advantage of this day off and going on a long run and making my marathon training plan!

- Monday: Run 10 miles
- Tuesday: Run 3 miles + Yoga
- Wednesday: Yoga
- Thursday: Rest
- Friday: Run 5 miles
- Saturday: Yoga
- Sunday: Run 10-12 miles
