Happy Friday everyone!
I apologize for my lack of blogging the past couple weeks. Life got kind of crazy celebrating my birthday then running my half marathon last weekend.
So since I haven’t had the time to create any new recipes or anything I figured what better time than now to do a little Friday Favorites post.
For the record, this post is not sponsored..these are just products that I am currently obsessed with/ couldn’t live without/ all happen to be food related…shocker.

Ginger Tea- I am pretty much obsessed with ginger everything but this tea is an absolute game changer for your digestive system. Ginger can help relieve nausea, upset stomachs, gas, bloating and boost your metabolism. I have a big mug of ginger tea after dinner every single night and it truly does just help soothe my stomach. Not a tea person? Try ginger chews after a meal. I always have these at work for after lunch.
Coconut Oil- You’ve probably read 98475943 articles on the health and beauty benefits of coconut oil so I won’t bore you talking about that. Why I’m so obsessed with coconut oil lately is the incredible flavor it adds to food. I’ve been scrambling eggs in coconut oil in the morning and I swear to god they are the most delicious eggs EVER. Another thing I’ve been doing is cooking protein like shrimp, chicken and tofu in coconut oil…WOW throw a little salt and pepper on and you don’t need anything else.
Coconut oil can be expensive so I highly recommend buying it from Trader Joe’s for the best price.
Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups- Move over Justin’s because these peanut butter cups are the most delicious things I’ve even eaten. I had to break up with Justin’s. I just could not justify spending $7 on a bag of peanut butter cups anymore. But a week without a peanut butter cup with my ginger tea after dinner gave me serious withdrawls so when I saw this bag at Trader Joe’s for ummm $.99 I had to buy them. WOW am I glad I did! I honestly think these peanut butter cups are better than Justin’s for a fraction of the price.
Just FYI- Trader Joe’s usually has these peanut butter cups conveniently right by the registers as you check out! Try them and thank me later.
So Delicious Almond Milk Coffee Creamer- I am one of the pickiest people when it comes to coffee creamer. I hate that nasty Coffee Mate crap and it truly makes me want to throw up watching people put 10 pumps of it into an 8oz cup of coffee. I mean, do you want coffee or a mug full of pure sugar? Rant over. A few months ago I randomly decided to try So Delicious’s creamer and am so glad I did. This stuff is so flavorful that you only need like a teaspoon for an entire cup of coffee and even better 1 Tbsp only has 15 calories and 3g of sugar.
Watermelon Nuun- I talk about Nuun hydration a lot on this blog but just in case you don’t know Nuun it’s an electrolyte replacement tab that dissolves in water. I drink Nuun religiously before, during and after long runs and after hot yoga classes. While I love all the flavors their watermelon one truly is to die for. I recently stocked up on 4 tubes and they’re already almost gone.
