Ohhhh summer…that magical time of year when it doesn’t get dark until 8:00 pm, tomatoes actually taste like tomatoes and fruit doesn’t cost $8758934549.

Yep, it’s officially summer and time to share my newest seasonal produce guide.

Veggies:

I swear vegetables taste like candy during the warm summer months. Grill them, saute them or eat them raw there are so many delicious ways to prepare summer veggies.

Here’s some recipe ideas to incorporate summer veggies into your diet: bruschetta chicken zoodles, beet hummuszoodles with turkey mushroom meat sauce, hot & sweet cherry pepper salad and crockpot salsa chicken thighs.

Fruits:

Summer is one of the only times of the year when I actually eat fruit. I simply can’t resist juicy tomatoes, sweet berries and 98445 lbs of watermelon. YUM!
