Cashew Butter + Weekly Meals

Happy Sunday!

Last week at work I did a presentation on Ways To Stay Healthy During A Busy Work Week. There are a million different ways you can stay healthy but the 3 major ones I highlighted were:

  • Plan and prepare
    • Think about your schedule and what nights you get home late and maybe can’t cook, make a grocery list and go to the store so you have healthy food at home, do a little meal prep..cook meats, make nut nutters, make hummus…etc.
  • Stay hydrated
    • Your body often confuses hunger and thirst! Try drinking some water if you start feeling extra hungry throughout the day. An easy rule to remember is to drink half your body weight in water (oz) per day.
  • Have healthy snacks readily available
    • This one is huge in an office setting. If you don’t have healthy snack options you’re so much more likely to get into the chips, chocolates…etc that are in the vending machines.

What I Ate Wednesday: Leftovers Edition

I love leftovers. They just make life so much easier.

One of the best tips I can give to anyone struggling to think of healthy lunch ideas is to simply cook a double portion at dinner.

Bryce probably thinks I’m crazy but right when I’m done cooking dinnerĀ  I break out 2 Tupperware and immediately portion out lunches for us both before we dig in.

This helps in so many ways:

  • We both have a healthy lunch ready for the next day
  • It helps control portions at dinner
  • You save so much money
  • You save SO MUCH TIME!!!!!
  • The lunches are way more exciting than some boring turkey sandwich over and over again

I love cookie dough. I’m actually obsessed with cookie dough. I’m that crazy person who makes chocolate chip cookies just so I can eat the dough until I get sick.

I wish I was kidding.

If you use Pinterest you’ve probably seen 9837823945 recipes for Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt and they’re all pretty similar: 1 container greek yogurt, peanut butter, vanilla, honey and chocolate chips. Except there is 1 HUGE problem with all of these recipes.

The peanut butter flavor completely overpowers everything and these recipes don’t taste anything like actual cookie dough.

Let me introduce the secret ingredient for making Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt actually taste like cookie dough…
